Telehealth

WHAT IS TELEHEALTH?

Telehealth is a way to provide medical and mental health services using video and audio technology. Telehealth is a great option to avoid exposure to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Prior to your appointment, your counselor will send you a link (via text or email) that will take you to a virtual waiting room where your counseling will join you for your meeting. You can join the meeting with a smartphone, computer or a tablet, as long as the device has a camera and a microphone. That's it!

IS IT SECURE?

Yes! The two online platforms we utilize for online services are HIPAA compliant. We also follow all Telehealth guidelines and protocols as well as those provided by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.

DO I HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE TO A SERVICE?

No, there is no subscription, purchase, or software download required.

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER THERAPY THROUGH TELEHEALTH?

Due to the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19), most major insurance companies are making exceptions to allow in-network providers to bill your plan for telehealth services.
